Ring Sizes
By Lucia rings are crafted to standard US sizing, with international equivalents below. If you're new to ring sizing, the easiest method is to bring a ring you already wear to a jeweller for a free measurement.

How to measure your ring size
- Wrap a strip of paper or string snugly around the base of your finger.
- Mark where the ends meet, then measure the length in millimetres.
- Match the millimetre measurement to the Circumference column above.
- If you fall between two sizes, choose the larger size.
Measure at the end of the day, when your fingers are at their largest. Avoid measuring when cold or after exercise.
Necklace Lengths
Necklace length changes everything about how a piece sits. Use the guide below to picture each length on your body — and remember, two or three different lengths layered together is the By Lucia signature.

How to find your length
- Take a piece of string or a soft tape measure.
- Wrap it around your neck where you'd like the necklace to sit.
- Measure the length in inches or centimetres.
- Match it to the chart above. For a layered look, choose two lengths at least 2 inches apart.
Most of our customers wear an 18" as their everyday and add a 16" or 20" for layering.

Reading a product page
- Drop — how far the earring hangs below the earlobe.
- Width — how wide the piece sits across the ear (relevant for hoops and statement studs).
- Closure — how the earring fastens. Butterfly backs include a soft silicone backing for extra security.
All By Lucia posts are sterling silver and nickel-free — safe for sensitive ears.
If between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up. Solid gold pieces cannot be resized after manufacture — please measure twice. Lengths may vary by ±1mm due to handmade tolerances.
