It actually started with wanting an initial piece that was unique to celebrate the birth of my baby boy Brooklyn. All the initial jewellery I found was quite tacky looking and something I'd never wear personally.

So I got out my sketchbook and started designing a piece that I could wear for life. Like an Heirloom quality initial piece that was so striking and unique. It took me a while but I eventually crafted the design and started wearing it out. Literally day 1 I had 3 people stop me at a cafe to ask me where my ring is from — that's when I realised I should start designing more letters.

The launch has been incredible so far — we've had so many cool moms ordering their own custom rings. Some people I would never imagine in a million years have contacted us to secure their pieces — so many clients in NYC especially. We've had to install a waitlist just to keep up with demand. I think we'll do a popup in NYC this year.
