The Earrings Women Stop To Ask Her About Every Single Day

You know that woman whose ear stack you always stare at and wonder how she did it? She actually only has one or two piercings. This is her secret

Spend five minutes on any jewellery heavy corner of Instagram and you'll notice the same thing: the women with the best ears aren't necessarily the ones with the most piercings. The jewellery stylist who founded By Lucia in her St Kilda studio has been watching this for years. Women would come in wanting that layered, effortless, I-woke-up-like-this ear stack look but they were so confused on how to achieve it and didn't want to waste so much money on earrings and painful piercings. So she designed her way around the problem and the result was the 'Illusion Earrings'.

— Teneille Rayner, Creative Director

"Every woman I've ever styled who has one piercing ends up with this. It gives them the ear they've always wanted without asking anything of them"

The Mistica Illusion Earrings create a full curated ear stack from a single lobe piercing. Delicate chains arranged to mimic layers. Their lightweight, hypoallergenic, waterproof and the kind of earring you forget about until someone across a restaurant table leans in and asks where you got it. And they will. The reviews on this thing read less like product feedback and more like a group chat: "I can't stop looking at my ears every time I walk past a mirror." "Have had so many compliments already." "I want a second set."

It's sold out multiple times. They have customers in all corners of the globe. Which tells you everything about what happens when a jewellery stylist actually solves the ear styling problem instead of just making another pretty thing.
